This month we celebrate Pentecost – we give thanks for the movement of the Holy Spirit in creation and pray for the Spirit to inspire our care for creation now. We give thanks for progress in Santa Marta, lament the suffering caused by the Middle East conflict and pray for a pivot to renewables. The immediate threat of an El Nino and the possibility of changes in the Atlantic’s circulation remind us of the urgent need to act.
